WHO IS THIS MAN OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU?

He took the human form and manifested on planet earth on the 30th day of December 1918.

At various stages of human existence, God has always taken the form of man to manifest on earth and to accomplish His will on earth. This goes to confirm the Biblical fact which says; “God is a Spirit”.

He is The Spirit, The Divine Holy Spirit which takes over a man at a particular time to accomplish the perfect works of God which often times are referred to as “Divine Assignments.” The Holy Scriptures bear witness to the Patriarchs and Prophets of old who at various times had been positive and honourable vessels of God used to accomplish His perfect works as well as His will upon man.

Reference can be made to:

  • Abraham, the ‘friend of God’.
  • Moses who led the children of Israel out of the bondage of Pharaoh, through the Red Sea, and to the Promised Land.
  • Melchizedek the King of Salem to whom men rendered their tithe offerings and received blessings from him.
  • Elijah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel; to mention but a few.

Each of those mentioned above was anointed by God and used according to His plan and His purpose for man at the time.

For His works to be perfectly accomplished through the chosen vessels, His Divine Spirit took possession of them; thus they were divinely led and inspired. Be that as it may, the lower nature of man still thrived within them and this explains why each of them at one time or the other fell short of God’s expectations.

Through the years, decades, centuries and generations God has always released His Divine Spirit into men for His will to be accomplished. In spite of this immense effort, man’s disbelief in God has heightened.

Out of His undying love and compassion for man’s pathetic state, He took the form of His Son who is Our Lord Jesus Christ, to pay a priceless and divine ransom for the atonement of the sins of man. His beloved Heir, having been crucified for the remission of the sins of man, cleansed and sanctified man through His blood, and reconciled man with His Father – God.

This paved the way for The Godhead who is The Comforter, The Holy Spirit personified, The Supreme Teacher and The Everlasting Father to manifest on earth in Human form to establish His everlasting and indestructible Kingdom. This is to fulfil the prayers of the Disciples of Christ; ‘Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth…’ [Matthew 6: 9-10]

His Kingdom is to institute justice and equity, teach love and forgiveness, and foster unity and peace; thereby bringing all mankind together as one flock under one Shepherd.

“And in the days of these kings shall The God of Heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever” [Daniel 2:44]

His Kingdom embraces the rich and the poor, the young and old, the whites and the blacks, the learned and the unlearned, the freeborn and the slaves, both great and small, male and female, the religious and the non-religious, all tongues, all nations, all races, and all beliefs. It is the kingdom which embodies the sum total of God’s creation. Within this kingdom there is no division, as all men and spirits are brought together and nurtured with pure and undefiled love.

“…Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.” [Revelations 21:3]

In His unequalled and unrivalled stride to reveal Himself to man, The Promised Comforter has always employed ‘The Word’, and this unique Power has often confounded mankind. In like manner as ‘the Word’ was spoken at the very beginning to create the Heaven, the earth, the sea, the beasts of the fields, fishes in waters, day and night, and man in the image of God; so does He speak ‘the Word’ to set us free from the worries and difficulties of life. Often He says; “Go! I am before and behind you”, “Go! All is well”, “Go! All your problems are over”. These pronouncements have never failed under any situation or circumstance; hence His ability to recreate man with the word – the daily admonitions. The potency of His words and pronouncements cannot be overemphasised and cannot be compared to the prophecies or signs and wonders performed by various religious leaders. HE IS THE WORD MADE FLESH.

In all His manifestations through the ages and in different forms, The Father has always chosen the humble background; an act of physical manifestation of God which has often confounded mankind and caused many to doubt and disbelieve Him.

Our Lord Jesus Christ was rejected for His Nazarene origin. To many of that time, nothing good could come out of Nazareth.

Father Olumba Olumba Obu in this advent chose to manifest in human form in Biakpan, a remote village in a West African Country. AFRICA? Can anything good come out of Africa? Indeed!

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And the base things of the world and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are.” [1st Corinthians 1:27-28]

Biakpan village – the physical home and birth place of The Father is predominantly a farming area and has wild vegetation with many beautiful streams and rivers. The Healing river of Bethsaida is in Biakpan and is renowned for its potency which is greater than Lourdes of France – which was made famous by the appearance of the Virgin Mary in 1858 to Saint Bernadette, and the river Jordan which healed Naaman’s leprosy many centuries before Christ.

Biakpan is in Biase Local Government Area in Cross River State, Nigeria.

In the year 1918, December 30th precisely, Great Leader Olumba Olumba Obu made His humble, yet triumphant entry into the human world through the blessed womb of Holy Queen Mother Ibum Mba Olumba Obu.

The parents of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu were wealthy and famous farmers within and around their neighbourhood. They lived in harmony, and upheld the virtues of love, Peace, forgiveness and selfless service to neighbours and friends. Neither of them constituted a stumbling block to the other in any manner.

Queen Mother Ibum Mba was by her nature a source of inspiration to other women. A natural born leader, her selfless services to others often left her deprived of sleep and meals. Many who benefited from her benevolence, kindness and relentless services describe her as epitome of love and mercy. As a devoted child of God, she believed absolutely that her reward lay with her Creator; who rewards according to one’s deeds.

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu’s manifestation on earth was preceded by significant events and revelations (some of which have been published, and some of which have been witheld and kept secret from the world in order to suppress the truth).

Among the many turbulent happenings that occurred before His birth were: the ‘Scramble for Africa’ by the European Colonial powers in the late nineteenth century, the First World War which lasted from 1914 to 1918 (the birth year of The Sole Spiritual Head) and the great influenza epidemic in 1918 which claimed many lives. Subsequent events which occurred after His birth were the influx of foreign missionaries in Nigeria, and the introduction of denominational preparatory schools for infants in Nigeria.

In like manner as the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ – the Saviour of the world -was foretold and revealed through Angel Gabriel and John the Baptist (the forerunner), so was the birth of Great Leader Olumba Olumba Obu revealed to many in order to prepare man for the new world and a new Government of Theocracy.

This brings us to the potent revelations of Prophetess Otom Egan Otim Oshim and Prophet Enun Mkpa. These two indigenous visioners were ordained to sound the trumpet to the people of Biakpan and to ensure that the people were in a state of preparedness to receive the Mighty King – ‘Orok Sughuren’ (The Word of God), ‘Etuk’(The Way), ‘Kakorok’ (The Truth), ‘Ima’ (Love); He who is to rule the world with the rod of iron.

To many people of that time the revelations of Prophetess Otom were baseless and unfounded; thus were dismissed as mere imaginations of a small mind. Time was to prove to man the reality and potency of these revelations as many events unfolded. For example there was a great famine in the land, there were no births and no deaths for seven years, and their treasured kingdom fell apart. The people of Biakpan were left with no other option, but to seek The God of Prophetess Otom for their redemption. Their years of flesh mortification, self-purification and total submission to the will of The Almighty Father led to the exodus of the people to the land of Biakpan. This set the stage for The Supernatural Teacher to take His physical form as a Biakpan man to confound the expectations of men.

Biakpan people, a peculiar race, a highly favoured people, chosen, honoured and glorified by The Father… how richly adorned you are.

The news of the birth of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu attracted both the old and the young in the town of Biakpan. It was chorused by all that a wonderful baby had been born; hence men and women went in their numbers to behold the new born baby and to pay homage. One remarkable episode which characterised the birth of our Father was the blind woman – Onori Eke Eko who was led to the Uvom feast (usually conducted eight days after the birth of a child, but His was on the fourth day after His birth) to welcome the new born baby; her sight was immediately restored as soon as she held the baby – Olumba in her arms. In her state of ecstasy, Onori Eke Eko let out a loud shout in Biakpan words; ‘Biakpan na, nkwa ma nyen na etuk o!’ meaning Biakpan, come and behold wonders!

This was indeed a great wonder. Never had it been heard or seen that a new born baby restored the sight of the blind. THE FIRST WONDER OF OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU AT FOUR DAYS OLD.

At the age of three (3) the young Olumba spoke some wonderful words. He said; “Call me a teacher for I have come to teach and lead the world by words and in deeds”. His youth indeed was no barrier to the truth that He had come to teach and lead the world.

At a very young age, young Olumba pronounced on a barren woman who had patiently served Him water to drink. In His Words He said to the woman; “Woman your patience has saved you. And having conquered patience, you are no longer a barren woman. Go home and tell your husband the good news.” A few months later, the woman conceived and bore a child, and many more children thereafter.

At the age of 4 young Olumba subdued death as he revived a dead hunter who had been dead for two days and whose funeral was underway by calling out the name of the dead man three times.

At the age of five (5) the young Olumba again subdued death as His voice of Prayer revived a dead sister to the astonishment of His father and the people of Biakpan.

The young Olumba identified and followed His path from His cradle. By 1925 before attaining the age for formal education (as it was then), the young Olumba had gathered enough followers to begin His Spiritual ministry. When He became of school age, His parents enrolled Him in school to acquire His Primary education in 1927 in Biakpan, but His Spiritual commitment to His calling and selfless services to His community gained priority. His concerned parents in seeking solution for their son to focus more on His education came up with a decision to move Him away from the land of His Birth Biakpan to a neighbouring community – Ebem Ohafia. By 1928, the young Olumba proved to His Parents, teachers and peers that His wisdom surpassed human understanding as He outperformed the school curriculum expectation for His school year as well as the years above Him. Young Olumba would without fail request to teach the class religious studies every time the subject was to be taught. Although young Olumba was perceived as a unique child by His teachers, His request to take Religious studies lessons was not taken seriously. One day, His teacher willing to oblige His request to teach the subject, mounted Him on a stool to teach. His depth of knowledge on this subject was so profound and overwhelming that His teachers had to learn from Him. From that point He was given the opportunity to teach the subject of Religious Knowledge in school. His then head teacher identified Him as the brightest student the school had ever produced.

Despite His academic excellence, young Olumba had a very brief stay at school as His Zeal to answer to His Spiritual calling outweighed all material gains.

In the wake of the Nigerian civil war in 1967, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu’s ministry had taken full form with followership spreading across the world with the then Headquarters at 26 Mbukpa Road Calabar. The Father through the period of the Nigerian civil war declared that Nigeria will remain as one country. Events occurring through the period of the civil war would further reveal The Deity of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.

As the civil war intensified, all other churches stopped operating and laid low but The Holy Father Leader Olumba Olumba Obu carried on in full operation, observing all the activities of The Kingdom. The Nigerian soldiers based on their vain intention gave a false report to their superior officers accusing Leader Olumba Olumba Obu of providing sanctuary to the Biafran Soldiers within His premises. This they did in order that they may be granted permission to invade the premises of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu to fulfil their lustful desire for the female members of the congregation. With permission granted to them by their superior officers, the Nigerian soldiers well-armed, invaded 26 Mbukpa. Strangely, they could not proceed beyond the first gate, neither could they retreat. There was a force beyond them which had already rendered their plan futile as the soldiers could no longer remember their reason for attempting to invade The Father’s premises. They became confused and anxious. The Father-Leader Olumba Olumba Obu emerged from one of the entrances to find out from the Nigerian soldiers what their mission was. The soldiers stated their mission which was to arrest The Holy Father, and search the compound for rebel soldiers (Biafran soldiers). At this point The Father told them to put away their weapons and kneel for prayers, and this the soldiers did. After the prayers, the soldiers departed 26 Mbukpa Road for their base.

The soldiers felt very bitter about their failed mission and the manner in which they failed. In their fury they made a brazen decision to call for air support, this time, with an intention to demolish 26 Mbukpa Road completely. Immediately the decision was officially taken to use jets to bomb 26 Mbukpa Road, all the engines of the jets refused to function. Highly skilled local and foreign aircraft engineers were brought in to fix the problem, but were unable to detect any faults. The engines of the aircraft refused to work. Having failed beyond doubt to get the planes working in order to bomb 26 Mbukpa Road, the mission was called off. At this instance, the aircraft started working. It dawned on them greatly who The Supernatural Being Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is. To atone for the folly of their initial intention, the Nigerian soldiers were ordered by their commandants to guard 26 Mbukpa Road and Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.

Towards the end of the year 1969, The Holy Father declared an end to the Nigerian civil war. In His declaration He said Nigeria will not separate, but will remain as one Country. Also, there would not again be another civil war in Nigeria. He went on to say we would only hear rumours of war, but shall not witness war. He celebrated a feast of Peace and Unity to end the civil war. The Nigerian civil war ended on the 15th of January 1970.

Many more revelations, testimonies and publications regarding the physical presence of The God Head were heard and read across the globe.

Few among many are; A publication by an American newspaper called: VOICE, a universal newspaper by the Spiritual Unity of Nations in the issue of June, 1967. It read;

“THE GREATEST NEWS OF THE WORLD, JESUS HAS RETURNED TO THIS EARTH.”

In 1973, an American woman, Dr Esther Weils of Malibu, California, United States of America, wrote to The Promised Comforter thus: “Dear Sir, last night I had a dream in which you were present. You gave me your address and stated that you were in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. I believe this note is short, but if you do exist and you are able to write, please answer; for in my dream the world was at an end.”

Dr. David E. A. Okparaeke of Owerri in Imo State of Nigeria, a psychiatrist consultant and a member of British Board of Surgeons wrote: “In 1975 the British Medical council sent me and some other doctors to India to undertake a cancer research project. During one of our leisure hours, we decided to climb the Himalaya Mountain for relaxation. While on the mountain, there came a whirlwind that sent me into a trance. While in that trance, I saw a rainbow in the sky with the inscription on it; OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU, 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, Nigeria.

Under the rainbow, I saw a golden chair with a figure sitting on it. He was robed in purple soutane with The Holy Bible on His thighs, holding a sceptre in His right hand and on His head was a golden crown with soutane Crescent. People of all races dressed in white prostrated before the man and knocked their heads on the ground three times to Him. Then a voice rang through saying; PEACE ON EARTH, LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

I must confess that before I saw the vision, I had never heard of Olumba Olumba Obu or Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Then I started wondering if Olumba Olumba Obu could be a human being or a spirit. Could there be a place called 34 Ambo Street, Calabar? In August, I decided to go to Calabar where I discovered Olumba Olumba Obu to be a real human being.”

Late Dr. S. J. Bazie (alias J. B. Narula) was an internationally renowned Indian astral projectionist who held strings of University degrees, doctorate in Psychology, Medicine and Naturetherapy.

In August 1975, he wrote from faraway India as a result of his miraculous discovery of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu during his astral projections and meditations. In his words he said: “Your Highness I am your child, Dr. P. C. Aggarwal (Dr. Bazie) of Eastern world. I have long recognized your DEITY and wish to come and see your physical face. I have been wondering what sort of a man you are, each time I tried to visualize you in my meditation here in India, all I could see was a ball of radiating rays of bright light, even brighter than PEACE AND LOVE, which increased my curiosity. Hence my resolve to visit Calabar at the earliest possible moment.”

After his arrival and subsequent meeting with Leader Olumba Olumba Obu on the 10th of October 1977, Dr. Bazie testified as follows; “When I was about to aboard from Bombay, India on my way to Nigeria I started feeling homesick and lonely. The feeling increased after the plane had taken off. Suddenly I found a man sitting by my side talking to me and comforting me. When I finally met Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, I was astonished to see that the man who was talking to me in the airplane was the very Olumba Olumba Obu.”

Late Assasu Inyang Ibom, the director of Esom Order and Author of ‘Beyond Prejudice’, writes:

“Without delay, investigation upon investigation was made from the earth plane to other planes of manifest. Every result indicated that The Leader of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star was a super-human Being. If this was true, He must have to come from one of the planes. We have searched for Him, but He would not be found in any plane except that He is found lavishly and at random, as a super-spiritual existence, which must be found everywhere independent of space and infinite to potencies.

In each plane that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, from earth to moon, the sun and the stars, from one Heaven to another, no one questions His spiritual potency. Before Him the cosmos submits as the son of man. Excessive astral projection was effected and the achievement which we expected in those planes was in utter confusion. Olumba Olumba Obu would not be a native of any of those planes the experts reached by astral projection. However, this Being is found in all planes without doubt, even in hell in special form. ”

Prophet Isaiah in a revelation thus questioned;

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?”
Isaiah 63: 1-2

Rebecca the wife of Isaac had within her two nations; Esau and Jacob. Esau the older twin was the strength of his father, going out to the fields to hunt for animals to make savoury meat for his aged father-Isaac. Jacob on the other hand was his mother’s favourite of the two, and stayed closely by his mother. Jacob through the advice and support of his mother stole the blessings from their father-Isaac which were duly meant for Esau, and fled away to another land. Esau, on realizing that his younger twin Brother Jacob had deceived their father and stolen his blessings, cried a loud and bitter cry to his father and asked if there was but one blessing left for him. Isaac at this point said to Esau “And by thy sword shall thou live, and shall serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shall have the dominion, that thou shall break his yoke from off thy neck”. Genesis 27:40

Esau then became Edom.

Jacob on later realizing that a time shall come when his brother shall gain dominion, while blessing his 12 sons in his old age said to his son Judah; “The Sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine: he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes”. Genesis 49:10-11

Shiloh – the one to whom all tribute belongs, clad in a red garment, has chosen to manifest in our time in a black skin and to the black race (Edom) for justice and equity, and to make equal all people and all races. For as it was done unto the Israelites, same is now done for the Gentiles.

In a black Continent He has made His physical abode, from where He speaks to man, spirits and Angels, and they obey His command. He has come with a new name – OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU. This is the new name of Power, the new name of Authority, the new name of Kingship and the new name of Salvation. His Glory radiates and spreads to the entire world, and both the young and old bear daily testimonies of His awesome works. For He is a quickening Spirit that moves around the universe.

To fulfil the scriptures as recorded in the Gospel of John 6:45; “It is written in the prophets, and they shall all be taught of God. Every man therefore that had heard, and hath learned of The Father, cometh unto me.”

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has relentlessly taught His followers day and night about the tenets of God and self-purification in order that we may obtain the Kingdom of God. He has practically demonstrated to us how one can peaceably coexist with others, practice unconditional love, render selfless services, and bear one another’s burden. His wholesome teachings confound the learned men and women of this world. Our Lord Jesus Christ laid the foundation for the Kingdom of God, The Promised Comforter who is The Spirit of Truth has come to establish the Kingdom and teach us all that the Disciples were unable to bear at that time.

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu does not pride Himself in material acquisition hence His saying; “okuk mmoro, inyene mmoro, edi owo akpaniko ke nyom”. This simply translates as; “money abounds, wealth abounds, but all I seek is one faithful person”.

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has passed through all the various stages and crosses of life thereby subjecting Himself to the same struggles as any ordinary human being in order to teach humankind through practical example.

Amongst His many missions on earth – to teach humanity and establish the Kingdom of God – Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has also revealed and glorified His Beloved Son, The King Of kings and The Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.

Prophet Daniel had a powerful dream; “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed”. Daniel 7:13-14

The star gazers, men and women of faith, Church leaders alike eagerly await the second coming of Christ. Church congregations are told He will crash-land from the sky. Here in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, we make bold our claim that The Father is here, for we behold His Holy Face.

Flesh and blood cannot reveal to any man who Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is. College degrees and educational prowess cannot guarantee anybody the knowledge of who Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is. Investigators and power seekers, have failed to prove who He is because with Him, ‘’the more you look, the less you see.’’ To His chosen He reveals Himself abundantly. His Mighty works and unchallengeable declarations are further proof of who THIS BEING is. He has on many occasions been quoted saying; “I stand on the Highest Authority in Heaven to declare thus…” Never in the history of creation has a mere mortal conceived such boldness to make claims of standing in the Highest Heaven, but Him who The Heaven, the earth, and the firmament obey.

His chosen call Him God, The Ancient of Days, The Arbitrator, The Chief corner stone, The Almighty, The Alpha and Omega, The I am that I am, The Healer, The Conqueror, The Redeemer, The Supernatural Teacher, The Commander of all Authority, The Sole Spiritual Head, The Holy Father. In like manner as the story of the blind men with the elephant, His children bear different and inspiring accounts of THIS BEING. He is the same today, yesterday and forever.

His children are arrayed in white linen robes. For these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes white in the blood of the Lamb.

Who then is this man OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU?

Thank You Father.
